New Hope Christian Camp and Retreat Center is a year-round camp and retreat center that exists to glorify God. Located three miles south of Platte, South Dakota, we are surrounded by open prairies with beautiful sunsets over the Missouri River hills.
We provide a place for worship, renewal, and rest through our facility which provides a full-sized gym, a full kitchen, 4 bedrooms with 40 beds, and multiple meeting rooms. On our 40 acres, we have a playground, a sand volleyball court, a large fire pit, and room to play any outdoor games. The chapel is fully enclosed and available for use.
We provide a facility for a variety of events and retreats. With being a young ministry, established in 2017, we look forward to being the host for your churches, private, school, or business groups, and your family. New Hope began running our summer camp programs for children in the summer of 2019. We hosted five camps over four weeks during the summer. We stand amazed at how God has blessed this ministry, giving us more opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with children.
