Camp Rules
Camp Rules
1. Keep buildings and campgrounds clean. If you make a mess, you are responsible for cleaning it up.
2. There is no smoking, vaping, or tobacco on the premises.
3. Non-prescription drugs, questionable language, crude stories, and alcohol are prohibited.
4. No open food is allowed in the sleeping rooms. (This helps keep little critters out!)
5. If there is a serious case of sickness or injury, please inform the camp director.
6. Males and females should be assigned to different sleeping rooms, unless all in that room are family.
7. When at New Hope, you should dress modestly and appropriately at all times.
8. Personal animals are not allowed at camp at any time. Please contact the camp director, prior to arrival, if you have a service animal.
*All rules and policies should be followed by all staying at New Hope Christian Camp and Retreat Center. You may be asked to leave if you fail to comply with any and all rules and policies.
Cleaning Requirements:
In order to better serve you and make everyone’s stay at New Hope Christian Camp and Retreat Center an enjoyable experience, we ask that you adhere to our expectations of cleaning prior to departure.
*Please do not use any chemicals during this process!
We will chemically clean everything after you leave.*
GENERAL CAMP GROUNDS:
1. Remove all litter
2. Pick-up game and sport equipment and return to sport room.
3. Remove all personal items.
ALL BEDROOMS:
1. Remove personal items.
2. Vacuum the floor.
3. Put all the trash in a trash can and tie the bag.
4. Take the trash to the dumpster.
MAIN BATHROOM:
1. Sweep the floors.
2. Wipe down the sink with paper towels
3. Put all the trash in a trash can and tie the bag
4. Take the trash to the dumpster.
CHAPEL:
1. Sweep the floor.
2. Place the pews how you found them
3. Put all the trash in a trash can and tie the bag.
4. Take the trash to the dumpster.
KITCHEN:
1. Wipe down all surfaces with a wet rag
2. Clean the microwave.
3. Sweep all the floors
4. Put all the trash in a trash can and tie the bag.
5. Take the trash to the dumpster.
DINING HALL:
1. Wipe down all tables and chairs with wet rags
2. Pick all scraps off of the ground
3. Vacuum
GYM:
1. Sweep the floor with large broom
2. Pick up game and sport equipment and return them to sports rack.
3. Remove all personal items.
